FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE Tuition payments are due in the office on the 1st of each month, however, payments may be made through the 10th without a late fee. Thereafter, a late fee will be assessed. Pre-school payments are due each Monday. A late fee will be assessed every day thereafter. You may contact Mrs. Clay by email: dclay@sbcalr.org |

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOUR REQUIREMENT In order to ensure that we maintain affordable tuition rates, parents are required to render twenty hours a year (five each quarter) of community service to our school. Community service hours may be earned by donating your time for various tasks such as, lunchroom monitor, classroom substitute, working concessions at games, filing, assisting in the office and aiding a teacher. Parents may inquire with the Principal for other options. (This requirement is per family, not per student). Assistance is currently needed from 11:00-12:00 for lunch coverage in the office and monitoring in the lunchroom. Service hours are also needed from 3:30-5:30 for office duties. However, if there are other times when you would like to earn your hours, please contact the school office. |

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION The "Early Bird" Registration is now in progress. Please pick up your application for the 2010-2011 Academic School Year. Please take advantage of this great saving through April 30, 2010. |

UNIFORM UPDATE Beginning April 1, 2010, SBCA Students are now allowed to wear uniform shorts to school. (Navy or Khaki only) |

SBCA STUDENTS SUPPORTS ST. JUDE Thank you SBCA Students once again for exceeding the goal of money raised for St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The students raised $1,647.86. The participating students will journey to Memphis to present the check to St.Jude on behalf of Second Baptist Christian Academy. |

Thank you SBCA Students and Parents for your overwhelming support to our Phone Book Recycling Project. Because of you, over 4000 lbs. of books were recycled. Congratulations to the Pre-School classroom and Mr. Maeweather for bringing the most phone books. The 2nd place winners were the 1st and 2nd grade class. Both classes will be treated to a special treat for their contributions. |
